Impact on collaboration between software suppliers and insurers
At the beginning of September, the Dutch Association of Insurers and Netaspect organised the Digital Transformation 2030 roundtable . Netaspect is an associate partner of the Association and during these kinds of sessions, the knife cuts both ways: insurers accelerate innovation and suppliers sharpen their offer to real practical questions.
This time it was about the impact of digital transformation on the collaboration between software suppliers and insurers. The discussion focused on key themes such as closer collaboration and software integration, the shift to cloud-based and SaaS models, an emphasis on data and analytics, cybersecurity, and the demand for innovative and specialised solutions.
In an animated exchange of experiences, the insurers present underlined the importance of solidarity and insurability in data and analysis. In the case of cybersecurity and compliance, demonstrability and practical implementation were mainly discussed.
Next time: effective management?
It also became clear that effective management is a theme where there is still room for improvement: How does an agile IT architecture contribute to collaboration and outsourcing, with explicit attention to flexibility, compliance and security?
"This is an ideal theme to discuss from the supplier and client perspective and to learn from each other," says Kees van Musscher, managing director of Netaspect.
